The Practice has been in business for over thirty years and has a complement of forty. 

The Practice undertakes all forms of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy work, providing design and supervisory services to various public bodies, private companies and individuals. Comprehensive consultancy services are provided from initial feasibility and economic study stages through final design and detailing to completion and commissioning of projects on site.

The Civil and Structural Engineering sections cover aspects and materials including site investigations, geotechnical studies, ground stabilization, piles and specialized foundations, reinforced concrete foundations, reinforced concrete and structural steelwork framed structures, reinforced brickwork, blockwork, masonry, structural timber framed buildings, roadwork's, sewers and drainage, bridges, manned and coastal structures and environmental works. 

The Building Services division undertakes all forms of design and supervision of installations related to the following services within buildings comprising environmental space heating, mechanical ventilation, air conditioning, electrical lighting and power, together with all types of specialist systems. In addition the design and supervision of domestic water services, drainage and other related plumbing systems are also undertaken.

The design of Specialist Services such as Voice and Data Communication Network Wiring, Security and Call Systems form part of our overall services design co-ordination package within buildings.

The firm has carried out appointments for the Department of the Environment, Property Services Agency, Crown Estates Commissioners, Common Services Agency, Scottish Development Agency, Edinburgh, Dunfermline, West Lothian and Orkney District Council, Health Boards, Universities, Housing Associations, Banks, Building Societies, B.T., several large well known Industrial and Commercial Organizations, Shell U.K., Exxon Chemicals, etc., and Private Housing Developers.
