The Firm of David R Murray and Associates was founded in 1972 in Dunfermline, Fife. Some four years later the Edinburgh Office was opened at St. Johns Road, Edinburgh and in October 2008 the new Edinburgh City Office opened in Eyre Place.

These locations enable the Firm to maintain a localised presence for all projects undertaken within the central belt of Scotland.

The Firm undertakes all forms of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering consultancy work, providing design and supervisory services to various public bodies, private companies and individuals.

Comprehensive consultancy services are provided from initial feasibility and economic study stages through final design and detailing to completion and commissioning of projects on site.

With a complement of 45 plus staff distributed throughout three offices, the Firm retains a wealth of experience.

Civil Infrastructure
We are Currently lookiing for a Civil Infrastructure Engineer for our Corstorphine Office

Must Have experience in Roads Drainage Design and Detailing

Experince in use of AutoCAD, Autotrack, Micro Drainage and PDS software is preferred

Mechanical Engineer

Successful applicant will work within a team of Design Engineers within our Dunfermline Office, and will be responsible for undertaking various mechanical services designs with minimal supervision for all types of projects across a range of sectors, such as residential, commercial, off-shore etc.

Be experienced in carrying out detailed surveys, site inspections and attending Client and design team meetings.

Good working knowledge and competent user of packages such as Revit, Hevacomp, Autocad, SAP2009 and SBEM are essential.

Applicant shall be Members of CIBSE, with BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, and a minimum of 2-4 years of post-graduate experience.

Salary will be dependant on experience.
